[SERIAL] Shooting with Claire on Daydream Island
Those who know her say: "Finally!". others do not yet know that my partner ![]()
We just spent the day on one of the 74 islands of the Whitsundays archipelago. Daydream Island is a small island very touristy, but charming! The program includes cocktails, coral beach, palm and crystal clear water for half a day.
The meeting at the end of the series was improvised, so I'm doing with the means at hand. The 5D2, 100-400mm L (not practical for this kind of exercise and a heavy hand!), Tilt Shift 24mm and Canon 17-40L. For lighting a simple flash cobra naked synchronized 1/200s course. I was able to get this record, thanks to the flash at times, been deported or ground with the wireless transmitter, RF04. With direct flash, connected to the case would render it no longer flat!

A configuration with the flash on the ground.
Good series!

Classy my little Claire!
I noticed a pink spot on the 12th photo is weird (in water, on the left of the float).
Nice shots, I look forward to the next! P

Great blog I just discovered.
As soon as I get time I come back to devour one or the other article!
Thank you for sharing with us your expertise.
The blurred photograph marked the ninth; pontoon immersed cons, standing model small; it is the result of a post-treatment or a shift lens?
This kind of interests me and I made eye on the APSC for my 17mm TSE.

Thank you yves.
It is an objective decentering. The Canon 24mm TSE The tilt and shift. Everything is manual, but it's fun!
the new 17mm is nice, but 17mm is very specific, except for one APS_C (27mm). For cons the dive at full opening will surely deteriorate ...
